Goodbye Beach Girl

America loves their Mousekeeters, even if they become fickle with them later (shame on you by the way, go read The Whore Cyrus). But the first, they hold with high esteem. We say goodbye to the original beach girl and forever our favorite Mousekeeter, Annette Funicello.

The original beach party started here, with Annette Funicello. Alive and well in the U.S.A. It is still going on, go see Back To The Beach and then check out some other of Annette’s movies. Bikini season’s here, let’s remember her with a beach party!

There are a lot of good things about being an American. Disney movies, bikinis, our music and the love of our life style. It’s OK to be happy and fall in love. Celebrity relationships are followed in the media like hurricanes being tracked by the weather channel. Annette and Frankie were among the first in bathing suits to fall in love before America’s eye’s and tug at it’s heart strings. It’s no wonder Disney movies still do that today. The first in along line of legacy and I dare say, yet more to come. Thank you Annette Funicello and Goodbye Beach Girl.
