When I was a kid the original Star Trek was in constant syndication just like Gilligan’s Island and Bewitched. Sci-fi was at the birth of it’s infancy and along side space and science were witches.  They pop up everywhere in video games and comic books, they have become synonymous with Snow White’s vain queen and every other evil villain woman we have come to know.
